Can you verify the below noted email I received- sounds like %26#039;hooie%26#039; to me?

It sure looks like %26quot;hooie%26quot; to me.

The selling and sentence structure are both British, but both AOL and Microsoft are American companies.

Look at the e-mail address: It%26#039;s a Yahoo! address! If there are two companies in the world that don%26#039;t need a Yahoo! e-mail address, those two are AOL and Microsoft.

As another poster noted, the country code for the telephone number should be 1 rather than 44.

The last paragraph asks you to %26quot;make contact with [YOUR] designated agent, but, whoever he is, he is THEIR agent, not MINE.

The e-mail says to %26quot;contact our Fiduciary Agent for VALIDATION.%26quot; It then lists Dr. John Mathins as the %26quot;Microsoft Promotion Award Team....%26quot; I would assume he is the Fiduciary Agent, but he is not identified as such.

Messages like this one are written by attorneys. They make everything crystal clear. This is a sham.

You might have some fun with this one, but be careful.

Scott

If you have ever personally dealt with AOL or Microsoft, you%26#039;ll KNOW that they don%26#039;t EVER, EVER give away money for anything. ANY e-mails you receive that say that you%26#039;re in a sweepstakes or a raffle at random are rubbish.

Other Replys:Sounds like houie to me. The giveaway is the +44 country code. The US is 1. If it was legate, it should be a 1 country code and a Microsoft email address. I would stay away.

Other Replys:doesn%26#039;t sound real to me.

look it up on snopes.

Other Replys:AOL and Microsoft with a Yahoo contact email?

That has to be the best %26quot;Come hither,%26quot; of the 21 Century, . . . said the spider to the fly!
