I want to block some web sites, !!????? help?

i put on the block list on the hosts file, and on the %26quot;Tech pro stop-ad program%26quot; but children can still go on that site, help!!? why is it still not blocking?? do you have a link to a free download that effectively and REALLY BLOCKS WEBSITES??? HELP!!

Forget blocking things, here%26#039;s what you do. Very clearly state %26quot;The following websites are off-limits...%26quot; and then tell the kids where they can%26#039;t go. That%26#039;s it. Nothing else. Then, next time you see that the kids have gone back to those sites then you simply drop a roll of quarters into a sock, sneak up behind the kid at the computer, and club %26#039;em like a seal. Why bother with hosts files and all that when you can resort to extreme physical violence?

try get firefox and block all the images or put strict search on google or and yahoo but i dont really know try wait for other answers

Other Replys:Try this.

1. Go to Intertet Expolrer Tools

2. Go to Security tab

3. Click to Restricted Sites

4. Add all the sites inside this.

If your kids very good, they will remove the resricted sites

Than go this, to remove the Security tab

1. Go to command line

2. type cmd first

3. type gpedit.msc

4. Group policy appear

5. Go to Computer Configuration

6. Go to Administration Templete

7. Go to Windows Components

8. Go to Internet Explorer

9. Go to Internet Control Panel

10. Disable Security Page - Enabled it

If u need back, turn back to Not Configured.
