Website members area with subscription - help?

I%26#039;m looking at making a website with a members area that users would subscribe to get access to. I%26#039;ve trawled the internet and can%26#039;t find anything I like - looking for easy software to manage this for me. The sort of thing with paypal integration :D Preferably free.

With my web host, I can password protect directories, so its really just a matter of getting the usernames and passwords for the directory to people when they pay for a subscription.

Have a look at Drupal, and it%26#039;s eCommerce add-in module for the subscriptions (if we%26#039;re talking about PAID subscriptions).
